What is the Run of the Ogopogo?

Established in 2009, this humble annual Toyota car meet has evolved into an inclusive, friendly, fun weekend of cars, banter, and shenanigans.

This meet has become an epic celebration of all things automotive. We gather a group of nerdy car enthusiasts from all over Western North America at a mountain chalet, mix in a hefty dose of scenic cruises, competitive driving events, dips in temperate Okanagan lakes, and indulge our mutual passion for all things automotive.

The legal stuff

The Run of the Ogopogo is a car meet comprised of a bunch of random nerds who decided to drive their fun Toyotas together around the Okanagan a few years ago and is not a singular legal entity. Participants assume their own liability and full responsibility for their actions and are required to conduct themselves in accordance with all local laws, bylaws, and social customs. Anti-social behaviour is not condoned and will result in expulsion. The organisers of the Run of the Ogopogo are not responsible for any potential loss or damages to vehicles, personal property, or actual persons. Attend at your own risk, and don’t be an idiot. 15/05/2024
